Musical Background
I began studying piano and solfège at the age of three and entered the Music School affiliated with Tokyo College of Music. I later graduated from the Piano Department of Tokyo Metropolitan Senior High School of Arts (now Tokyo Metropolitan High School of Comprehensive Arts), followed by Tokyo College of Music, the Piano Performance Research Course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, the Sweelinck Conservatory of Amsterdam, and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in piano performance. I have also taken private piano lessons in the United Kingdom and worked as an accompanist for a choir during my stay there.
I am a full member of the Piano Teachers’ National Association of Japan (PTNA).
Currently, I am a research student at the Graduate School of Global Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, where I study Arts Management. Alongside my performance and teaching activities, I am also involved in planning local concerts and school-based class concerts.
My piano studies have been guided by Aiko Iguchi, Yuko Sekine, Yasuko Nakayama, Michiko Nishikawa, Yasuko Sugimoto, Miwa Yuguchi, Norio Kusakawa, Natsuki Nishimoto, Willem Brons, and Gabriel Kwok.I studied piano duo, chamber music, and accompaniment with Margaret Lin.
